Cynthia Robbins, Esquire, chairperson of the Uzima Foundation Board, is Chief Strategist of Consult GR Team, a Washington, DC-based consulting firm. She has helped to build and lead successful, enduring organizations since she was a student.. A well-traveled and winning trial attorney, she grew up in a United Nations-founded village and worked at the UN. Conversant in French and Spanish, she is dedicated to tapping the resources, expertise and innovations of the Diaspora to meet health needs across Africa. She was recently named a fellow by the Culture of Health Leaders Institute for Racial Healing supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. R.
